Soft191 Camotion 1.01 detect motion using a webcam
Designed to detect motion using a webcam, and store images or video of that motion.
Motion detection can be turned on or off, and you can be notified of events when they occur by sound, or visually (such as a pop-up window or balloon tip).
You can decide whether you want to take a picture or record video when motion is detected.
These are called 'events' and can be managed using the built-in event manager.
Video and picture files can be played/opened, deleted or copied to the Windows clipboard.
The program runs in the notification area (or system tray, which is usually the bottom right of the screen, next to the system clock).
If you want to be notified of events via a pop-up window, the main window will show whenever motion is detected.
You can choose to have it automatically 'hide' away again after a given amount of seconds.
You can manually record video by simply clicking on the record button.
All events can have a date and time stamp.
Additionally, you can make Camotion only record or take pictures during certain times of the day.
And it works! Tested by me on my notebook's camera and works fine.
This one of the stored pictures, the original size was 640x480 and same quality as you see on camera.
